The Fulton Tool Company (sometimes referred to as Fulton Tool Works) was established in 1882 in Canal Fulton, Ohio. They created wrenches, axes, picks, and other mining tools in Canal Fulton during the coal mining days until relocating to Huntington, West Virginia in 1916. Fulton Tool Company became one of the most prevalent brands, in part due to its prevalence in the Sears Catalog starting in 1908. Once Sears began the Craftsman brand, however, Fulton tools became a secondary brand in the catalog and went out of business sometime shortly after that.[1][2].
