The Old Canal Days Museum is a museum that was started by C.E. Gainey in 1966 in an old storage building in his own backyard at 118 North Canal Street. He built up a large collection of items and put together materials about the history of Canal Fulton and the Ohio & Erie Canal. He ran the museum himself until 1979 when he donated much of his collection as well as the building to the Heritage Society, after which the building was relacated and adjoined to the Heritage House located at 103 Tuscarawas St NW.
